The Trench Kisses : Burberry Prorsum A/W 2013 Womenswear

1. Trench Kisses

I would like to say that Burberry Collection had blew me away once again without failed. With the theme trench kisses, Burberry showed it's Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2013 collection that is inspired by Burberry classics, sixties beauty and featuring an iconic Burberry color palette.

• For me , I simply love every pieces on the runway show. My personal favorite has got to be the camel trench coats and the high waisted rubberized skirts, especially those with the rubber ones. The trench coat are constructed from modern and heritage rainwear fabrics. & The fitted gabardine body is overlaid with a rubber rain shield, gun flaps and sleeves, while the lower panel is crafted from translucent rubber. Not to forget, the Metal-detail epaulettes complete the whole design.

2.TheCollection

a. Styles
Consists of trench coats, cabans, Chesterfields, topcoats, regimental greatcoats, column dresses, shell dresses, cropped trousers

b. Fabrics
Cotton gabardine, glossy cashmere, glossy calfskin, and laminated python print leather

c. Colors
White, camel, oxblood, red, black, gold

d. Accessories 
Crush bags, kitten wedges, animal print sunglasses, gold band belts

Golden glow with Trench Kiss lips, Oxblood Burberry Nail Polish



Talking about the Make up, the show was the first time that Burberry premiered the new Trench Kisses make up look and collection.

The Sophisticated glowing look as seen at the Burberry Prorsum autumn/winter 2013 show gives a 
fresh golden nude complexion enhanced with light contouring and also touches of gold on eyelids combined with deep black eye lashes and defined eyes. This is inspired by ‘60s beauty Trench Kiss lips and what was perfect enough is the Oxblood nails finishes the look.

As part of the show, Burberry also introduced their Burberry Nail Polish to its beauty collection, launching in stores in Autumn 2013. The color worn by the models in the show was Oxblood, which is also an inspired by the ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

Application Tips 

          EYES

• Apply Effortless Mascara in Midnight Black No.01 to curled top lashes, focusing on the root of the lashes for
  a deep dark lash line. Remove excess mascara with a clean mascara wand.
  
• Fill in the top lash line between lashes with Kajal Pencil in Poppy Black No.01, to create an intense lashline
  with soft definition
  
• Apply Sheer Eyeshadow in Pale Barley No.22 to the eyelid
  
• Gently contour the socket line with Sheer Eyeshadow in Gold Trench No.04
  
• Brighten the inner corners of the eye with a touch of Lip Glow in Trench Kiss No.24
  
• Apply Kajal Pencil in Stone No.104 on the inner rim of the eyes to open and slightly brighten
  
  
  SKIN
  
  
• Use Sheer Concealer to highlight the face – through the centre (forehead, nose, cupid’s bow, chin) and under
  eyes (rose-toned shades) to diminish dark circles and even the complexion
  
• Mix Fresh Glow with Sheer Foundation before applying to create a sheer, luminous base. Begin application at
  the centre of the face, blending out towards the edge of the face for a natural look with an effortless appearance
  
• Add touches of Fresh Glow over the base to create a healthy gold glowing effect – focus on cheekbones, nose,
  forehead and chin
  
• When the base is even, set the look with a light dusting of Sheer Powder around the nose to remove excess

The PUMA Suede : 45 Years Fresh #ForTheStreet

When it comes to PUMA, it is definitely something familiar to us, or in fact it's word that have been imprinted in our mind even if we try not to remember it. I personally think, It has been categories as a human nature that whenever we see, heard, think about PUMA it aligns with sneakers and sports. Do you agree with me ? 

PUMA is known as one of the world's leading/lifestyle companies that not only designs and develops footwear, but apparel and accessories as well. Therefore, this spring-summer 2013 PUMA will mark The Suede's 45th year of changing the game and the release of soon-to-be-legend, the FUTURE SUEDE with massive celebration through contests, events, exhibitions, TV and campaigns as well.

In order to celebrate this great and successful 45th years of rich heritage as well as to kick off the ' Evolution of the Suede", PUMA is inviting all their fans from all around the world to be a part of the " Classic Suede Instagram Contest" and also calls for an interpretation of the Future Suede in the year 2058.

I know right now , you might be feeling confused and all over the place but no worries, because I'll pin down every single details here for you.

1) The 'Evolution of Suede' Instagram Contest: 

•  This calls for the public to post pictures of their personal collection of the Suede , a photo of a favourite street icon, or their design of the 2058 Future Suede. 
•  PUMA fans can also take pictures with iconic props available in PUMA outlets.
• And REMEMBER to hashtag #ForTheStreet, so that fans can become part of the timeline with other fans worldwide
•  The contest will start on the 25th February 2013.

2) The 2058 Future Suede Designing Contest: 

• - The arrival of the Future Suede calls for an interpretation of the Future Suede in the year 2058. 
• - With the Suede template provided at http://go.puma.com/suedetemplate, 30 top designs submitted to PUMA will be selected and exhibited. 
• - The designing contest will begin on 18th January 2013, to 1st of March 2013. 
• - A winning design will be selected to win the grand prize of PUMA products worth RM2,000, 2 VIP passes for the PUMA Evolution finale event, and meet & greet with artiste at the event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The promoter

The Promoter of this competition is PUMA Sports Goods Sdn. Bhd. (“PUMA”).

2. Who may enter

Entry is open to Malaysian residents only. Employees of PUMA, associated retailers, any companies or agencies directly connected with this competition, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children), are not eligible to enter.

3. How to enter

3.1. Preliminary round

1. 3.1.1.  Download the Suede Template from the following link go.puma.com/suedetemplate and submit your design based on the following rules
2. 3.1.2.  The design must be created on the side, front, top and back view of the shoe using the template
3. 3.1.3.  You have the use the red colored Suede template as the base for your design as the actual shoe that will be provided for the Final Round will be red in color.
4. 3.1.4.  You can change the base color of the shoe in your design but you will have to replicate your design on the actual shoe if you reach the Final Round.
5. 3.1.5.  The PUMA logos must remain in the original position as placed in the template
6. 3.1.6.  The design must be submitted by email in both Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and
   JPEG formats in a zipped file (ZIP or RAR), which must not exceed 10MB in size.
7. 3.1.7.  All designs and fonts must be outlined or in 300 dpi.
8. 3.1.8.  The design must be submitted by email to the following email address:
   marketing.my@puma.com no later than 6.00PM (MYT) on 1st March 2013 with participant’s full name, IC number, mobile number, full address, contact email and College/University name (if applicable).
9. 3.1.9.  Participants are allowed to enter a maximum of three (3) designs but each submission must be accompanied by participant’s full name, IC number, mobile number, full address, contact email and College/University name (if applicable).
10. 3.1.10.  Participant may withdraw his/her entry at least 1 day prior to the closing of the entry period by notifying PUMA by an email to marketing.my@puma.com.

3.2. Final round

1. 3.2.1.  The top 30 designs from the Preliminary Round will be given the actual PUMA Suede’s for them to create their final design on the actual shoe.
2. 3.2.2.  The top 30 designs will be announced via PUMA Malaysia’s Facebook page and thru email by the week of 4th of March 2013 and the shoes will be given to the finalistsby the same week and the finished design must be submitted back to

Burberry Prorsum Autumn / Winter 2013 Womenswear Collection

It has always been a pleasure to stream the show for Burberry Prorsum and it was just last year that they bring Spring and Summer Womenswear by storm at the Burberry S/S 2013 Show at London. Rewinding the clock back to 1940s, Christopher Bailey does know how to revamp the 40s style into such breathtaking collection. I cant help but to share the pop of colors that blew me when I was watching the show live.

Corsets, capes, peplums, wedges heels, shorts, slinky pencil skirts with kick pleats and a dip of colors, which such magnificent theme, it is no doubt I got blew away.

However, that's not the main point why I am writing this post. The main focus of this post is to announce that Burberry Prorsum Autumn /Winter 2013 Womenswear show will be held on the 18th of February, Monday,12.00 am ( Malaysian time). Once again, there will be a live streaming show right from London here on my blog. So lets count down together to the live show on the 19th.

At the mean time, lets have a small recap of last year A/W 2012 Womenswear. I cant wait but anticipated to see what Christopher Bailey is going to bring it out this time.

First and for all, Happy Lunar Year to all that is celebrating this festive now. Since I was young I ve always love celebrating Chinese new year, merely because it's the only time that allows all the generations after generations, siblings & relatives to really gather together and catch up what was leave behind. Not to forget, delicious delicacies and bright red packets given out to the young ones like me & dressing up time.

This time round, I start off my chinese new year eve a little laid back with beanie , jeggings and a leather vest. Not to forget to thank Fashion Valet for the brilliant statement necklaces. I decided to stacked two statement necklaces and here I discovered a whole new outcome for it and currently loving it as well.
